This is my sketch for this week. I finally see what I want to do with it and will finish it in the next day or two.

Here is my design for the Apt. I tried to stay close enough to the original ideas, but adding my twist to it. I spent a fairly good amount of time working on the anatomy and thinking about what kind of structure would allow it to do its thing. Hope you enjoy!

Week 14: Apt

This week we decided to take an idea from the John Carter books and try some designs.

We decided on the Apt.

Apt: A large white-furred arctic creature with six limbs, four being legs, which give it rapid speed, and two being arms with hairless hands, with which it grasps prey. It has tusks growing from its lower jawbone, and large faceted, insect-like eyes. Appears in The Warlord of Mars.

Lets see what we get.

Here is a quickie for this week. Got sick and couldn't explore as much as I'd hoped for a topic like this, but here it is anyway:

Week 13: "animals that ate the Ooze"

This week will see the grotesque abominations that happen when an animal drinks the ooze.

Week12: Beneto

"Taking down the dead"

The character's nickname is Reaper. He is sending the undeads back where they truly belong.

I mixed elements of SWAT uniforms with a Grim Reaper feel to it.

Week 12: Lyle

I had no time this week and I have to finish packing, so this is a quick and in my opinion super generic sketch for this week. I will also offer up this quick alien painting I did a couple nights ago. I think it has some neat stuff going on.

Week 12: "Taking down the dead"

This week we are going to design the people that protect up from the dead when they threaten everyday life.

Unfortunately, I am leaving on a trip this week, so I will post what I can.
