Week 2 - Tripod alien life form

Week 2 topic is Tripod alien life form.

As you can see Bernard did an amazing job on his week one creature. Unfortunately, I am a little tired up over the Holiday, so my posts may not get up until the first week of January.

This second topic should be great to get to work on some way out alien lifeforms.

Week 1 - Leviathan

My first post on this blog! Thanks Lyle for taking the time to set all this up.

Here is what I came up with this week's theme (Aquatic, Gargantuan, Destructive, Leviathan).

I designed a version of the Leviathan based on religions viewpoint; trying to mix features of demons and deep sea creatures together. Example: the tentacles spread like demon wings, etc.
When it swims, the tentacle wraps around the body like a cocoon and it swims like a shark.

WEEK 1 TOPIC

LET THE WEEKLY ART BEGIN!!!

Bernard and I met at a Carlos Huante workshop last year and became fast friends. We have now decided to start this weekly blog to challenge each other and produce art each week. We will come up with a topic at the start of the week and see what we can produce by midnight the next Sunday. It could be drawings, paintings, 3d or digital. Basically whatever we need to get the idea across. We may also post work in progress during the week. ENJOY!!!
